What I Saw In My Fridge.
When I first saw Rachael on my TV set, I thought "cuuuute", plus kinda had that Suzanne Pleshette tone in her voice... ahhh. And then the next day I saw her on TV again and again and again and then in every catalog on earth and plastered on every webpage in existence and I heard her on the radio and all over the front of every magazine at the checkout counter and pretty soon... I'd had enough of Rachael.
And then I opened my fridge the other day, and I saw this. Rachael Ray with a descriptive line "stock in a box".

I wouldn't mind seeing her picture on the back of a milk carton.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have noticed. If I wanted beef stock I would have gone there with such speed that beyond "beef stock" I would have read nothing.

ReplyDeletePoor Julia Child only had PBS. Rachel Ray is like Oprah with all of her media promoting. I love food shows, but they are so fake. The kitchens are clean, they have all the ingredients the recipe calls for. That never happens in my life.

The other day, while at my wife's store, I found that she had a *gasp* cookbook...or series...whatever.

I giggled. And then I said, "Yeah, sure...but she's no Giada."
