....Where The Grass Is Green And The Girls Are Pretty

Today it's just a video for y'all, but not just ANY video. One of my all time favorite songs and coincidentally attached to one of my all time favorite videos. Back when they were great instead of lame.

G n R's Paradise City.

Get fired up! It's the weekend!

You had to go and do it. I was gonna just settle in and unwind for the weekend - then you go playing some great rockin music. Now I got to get up off my a$$.
Great stuff. Love your blog.

Kick ass! This took me all the way back to high school, cruising the "strip" in my parents god-awful rust-colored Hornet and rocking out so the boys would notice us and our big-ass hair. Yay!

Actually, now that I think about it more, it wasn't high school, it was college but the story is the same. (Too much Panama Red ruined my memory.)

Also, I saw them once when they were still relatively unknown and they opened for Aerosmith at THE (now gone) ARENA! Man, that place always smelled like pee.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I will always be a Welcome To The Jungle girl whether I like it or not. When I'm pissed off or sad or tired or whatever, I just put WTTJ on my I-pod and *POOF* everything is better.

It's magic I tell ya.

Love the song, love the band...hate the new hair on the lead singer.

Looks like he got caught in the middle of a horrible cornrow braiding raid.

Love this song, I saw these punks here in Tokyo back in the day, paid nearly $350 for a ticket, the punks were 1 1/2 hours late, they played a 40 minute set and that was it............. Still, it was cool to see them do this song live!

Takes me back!
